As Martial Artists, we all suffer from limitations, things that prevent us from reaching our full potential. For some, those limits might be self-imposed mental barriers. The belief that everyone else is so much stronger or more flexible than they are, while others have outward physical limitations that don't allow them to train in the same traditional way that their peers might. Martial Arts are a test of both mental and physical strength, meant to spur us into creating better versions of ourselves in the face of adversity. In traditional teaching, if each individual is obtaining personal growth, then the collective whole (humanity) will benefit and become strengthened.
